ZARA exclusion zone halo lights
Meet ZARA (Zone Aware, Risk Alert).
ZARA exclusion zone halo lights, give visual awareness of the exclusion zone of the vehicle they’re installed on.
What does 5 metres look like?
Feedback from ZARA used on site has been that it increases awareness of the zone, particularly for visitors to a site. People don’t always know what 5 metres actually looks like in reality.
By having a visual indication on the floor, it makes people think twice.
Combine this with our proximity warning system for an alert if someone does step in that zone.
More than a light
ZARA is more than a static light.
When a pedestrian enters the exclusion zone wearing their SiteZone tag, the light flashes orange and red.
This adds an additional warning for the pedestrian on top of the tag vibration and audible alarm.
Ideal for indoors and night operations
We’re always honest about what does and doesn’t work (it’s one of our values).
These lights are most effective for indoor environments and at night. This means they work well in areas such as such as tipping halls, and sorting facilities.
But during the winter months when the nights draw in quicker, ZARA lights are effective, particularly as these are dangerous times due to the reduced light levels.
