These busy environments — with delivery deadlines to meet for your own customers — often have many vehicles whizzing around in the same place to get their job done.

Forklift Trucks are one of the most used industrial vehicles, so it’s no surprise they’re involved in about 25% of all workplace transport incidents. And the work they’re involved in can often be repetitive leading to complacency. With a Forklift proximity alert you can make sure that complacency doesn’t creep in.

Working in restricted spaces

Not only is the space you work in restricted, but the room available inside a FLT cab is minimal. The SiteZone Forklift truck (FLT) proximity warning device doesn’t have large screens taking up space in the cab, and we have waterproof versions for open cabbed vehicles. Exclusion zones can be configured to work within the space you have from 0-10m.

360 detection, even when carrying a load

When FLTs, telehandlers and reach stackers are carrying a load, the driver and any additional cameras cannot see in front of it. Plus, warehouses and ports have many other obstructions such as racking, pallets of goods, and containers that will hide a person before it’s too late.

Our proximity warning system can see round corners and in front of loads to provide advance warning of a risk.

Only detecting when needed

Your site will have been designed to segregate where possible with barriered walkways. So, you don’t want people being detected when you’ve already segregated them.

We can mask these safe zones and only detect the person when they're at risk, making sure your staff don’t become complacent to alarms.

Control access

Do you want to restrict access and ensure people on site are adhering to PPE policy?

With a tag activated gate or door you can stop people getting on site or into a certain area if they’re not wearing a tag, keeping your site safe and removing unauthorised access.

We can integrate with your existing gates so minimal changes to infrastructure are required.
